Hi Guys !
The whole event went on smoothly as planned. Minor hiccups here and there, but it was resolved. Minimum participant downtime. Weather was excellent & the track was dusty and AWESOME. Crowd turnout was great. Lining up the entire track like we have never seen before !
Some fascinating facts about the race
- 135 registered riders
- 28 winners,
- > 15 sponsors
- > 50 of lucky draw give away
- more than 20 photographers
- RTM & 8TV had video shots
- 1 min 38.089 sec fastest timing in the final race run
- 4 min11 sec slowest rider in the finals
- 12 is the number for the youngest rider
- 54 is the age for the most senior participant
- 3 categories won by Indonesian Riders, 1 By Malaysian (Sports) & 1 by Singaporean (Elite)
- 7 elite riders finished within 2 seconds in the finals *1.38.089 to 1.40.045 !
We will post up the race results by 1st Feb 2010 and try to get the race pics up by mid week for all to view.

This is a great 1st event this year. A big thanks to Element the backbone of the event, you've done a great job .. a big thanks also goes to all supporter ROAM, MDHA and all guys till marshall from CM & PGgerek ... To all sponsors, we always need you! hehehehe ... media & man behind the scene ... great to see national & international rider around. last but not least, thank to all rider and people who joined us and enjoyed this event!!! ... yeah!! we'll move to next round babe!!

organizing-wise - not a single glitch can be seen. bravo to the organizing committee for ur hardwork.
but its so sad to know that u all going thru all the hard work only to give away the prize money to some foreigners on our very own soil. so sad..
why is this happen? because malaysia only have PURE downhiller. some rich chap with no basic riding skill. 4X sections proves it all.
does anybody know who is Tan Hong Chun before he become dh champ? does anybody know that he is a national xc rider? go n learn from him. ask him what it takes to be a champ.
so malaysian dh rider! time to prove yourself! gud luck all!

such a winner in many ways, including the most injury prone track, lol!
the event is so efficiently held and with so many perks that future races will have a tough time beating.
You guys are pure awesome!

SG slow rider
- superb event with superb prizes, and meals (dinner, breakfast, lunch and after race snack)
- goodie bag should be given during registration not after race
* its not fair to say malaysian is a rich crap who cant ride, just that those indo riders are proper TRAINED AND PAID riders, all they need to bring down to Malaysia are just their passports and bikes.. the rest are PAID by their management. Malaysia still lack of athlete management. But indo also has rich crap riders who cant ride too, just they didnt come. but yea Malaysia should step up and produce quality riders..
